Sample Sale

I recently returned from the Buyers Market of American Craft in Philadelphia and the American Craft Council show in Baltimore. Both of these shows are wholesale shows; where buyers come and look at my work and place orders. At both shows other artists approached me to buy my samples.  I couldn’t sell my samples in Philly because I still had  head to Baltimore and in Baltimore I did make a few sales.  I wanted to save my samples for my dedicated customers!

So where are all these hot new samples? Right here for you to purchase.

Help A Girl Out

I finally got a new camera last week. My old camera was 7 years old! That means it time to explore photographing my work.  I typically photograph my work with the standard graduated background, because that’s the format you have to use to submit your work to art fairs, exhibitions, etc.,

Since I’ve been spending a lot of time of Pinterest looking at different household wares I thought it was time to switch it up and take lifestyle photographs of my work.

What do you think?  Can you visualize my work in your home better? Is the natural daylight more affective? Any feedback would be appreciated!

Love is in the Air

Cyndi Casemier, of C2C Gallery, invited me to be the featured artist at her gallery in February.  I’m really excited! We are focusing on reds and oranges for Valentines Day. :) Here is the sweet ad Cyndi created.

I also wanted to share that I’m on Pinterest (mildly addicted) and can be found at: https://pinterest.com/heidimcf/

Happy pinning!
