I’ve always kind of liked your photos the way they were, but maybe if you added something organic, like fruit. Or even group a couple of different pieces. Of course, I should probably take my own advice.

I like the 2 bowls stacked on the slab in the 1st picture. I don’t think it’s distracting like the placemat. The sill is more my style, but agree with previous poster that it might take away from your work. I like the size of that first photo.. the vantage point… makes a TALL look. lovely work.

Heidi – Really think the infinity paper background is the best way to go for pottery. Or even a piece of offwhite felt – cheap! Eliminate the distractions and your work looks best!!!

I’m partial to the photos of the stacked bowls and bicycle cups. The background is simple enough not to compete with the graphics, but still implies a countertop home setting.

my fav are the window sill shots. Maybe it’s the lighting that I like, but I am drawn to them. I’m not crazy about the place mat shots. I believe photos of my work, placed in my home, help sell my work at art fairs. Helps folks visualize.
